Ortari

Millenia ago, the Prime Dragon Ortus created the universe and the many galaxies within. Ortari is one such galaxy—home to the Pan-Astral Federation, the Veltic Space Coilition, and the Novoraskr Empire—it is where our journey begins.   The Empire is struggling after the sudden disapearance of High Queen Reina and the heads of Novoraskr's most prominent noble families. Piracy runs rampant as different factions within Starfleet turn on each other. Dangerous areas where magic and technology do not function correctly—called Dead Zones—have begun to appear with increasing frequency, disrupting trade and indangering civilians.   With its internal instability, Novoraskr has become the target of the Veltic Space Coalition—a group of allied planets and systems intent on seizing the Empire's vast supplies of Caranite. Novoraskr would not stand a chance against the Coalition without the help of their ally, the Pan-Astral Federation, but the Federation has run into troubles of its own, and cannot spare much help at the moment.   You all have been assigned to the NSP Genterprise, a medium-sized patrol ship stationed near Lysavor and its surrounding area.   You will be reporting to Admiral Thracia Pierce, currently on board the NSS Gildaru.
