The five Archangels

Serving under Pelor were five archangels, and each had earned their spots through great deeds and true fealty. Their names were Gordona, Sebastian, Mikal, Releqial, and Sarath. Through their ascension they would become saints who would go on to enact Pelor's will in Firovia. Many stories tell of mortals coming face to face with the angels, who had come bearing great news or fell warnings. 
Saint Gordona is said to be the head priest of Pelor, Sebastian the commander of the heavenly host, Mikal is the lord's herald, Releqial is the prophet of peace, and Sarath is the angelic ferryman.

The greatest of the mortals said to have communicated with the angels is the first pope, Elyassef the first. It is said that he alone could call upon the angels, and make conversation with them, learning many things and gaining much wisdom. It was Elyassef that built the first city in Konigsfell, acting upon the words delivered to him from Pelor through Mikal. This city would become Lowincourt, the epicenter of all Pelor worship in Firovia, and the capital of the kingdom.
