Saint Sarath

"The Ferryman"

Saint Sarath is perhaps the least talked about of his brethren, yet he is no less important. For Sarath is the Ferryman of the dead, and on his boat he carries the recently deceased to the fields of Elysium to serve the great king Pelor for all eternity, or to the gate of hell if their soul was impure. For those who have lost loved ones, either to natural causes or casualties of war, it is Sarath who heeds their prayers.    Saint Sarath is shown to be a kind faced angel, and instead of wings he bears a great cloak made of brilliantly white feathers. They say his cloak appears to be pitch black to those about to be dragged to hell. His symbols typically show visages of his boat, and some show the gates of Elysium or Hell, respectively.
