Saint Releqial

"Harbinger of Peace"

Saint Releqial is the angel of peace and ideals, and he watches over each and every marriage. During the early years of the church, Releqial was held in much more importance, as the unification of families was common place in Konigsfell. When these marriages would take place, prayers would be made to Releqial in a plea to bless the matrimony. Releqial is not only known for marriage however, and he is prayed to in the midst of battle to bring the battle to a quick close, so that peace may come once again. 
Releqial is seen as a giant eye, with countless wings flowing out from behind it. In Pelorian chapels where marriages are held, frescos of the watching eye are displayed on the ceilings so that the saint may watch over the proceedings. Saint Releqial's most common symbol is the watching eye, and is often seen painted on the shields of Norvian knights. A less common symbol would be the interlocking rings, meant to symbolize marriage. However this symbol is sometimes known to mark a union of any sort, and in some cases has no connection to Releqial at all.
