"A Year And A Day: A Hedgeknight's Tale" by Kardak Hesturne

Arthurian Legend - Lady of the Lake by Marie Stephanie Surga

The harrowing journey of Kardak Hesturne as a Hedgeknight in the service of the courts of the Faewild is one of the most decorated accounts that scholars possess regarding the etiquette and ceremonies of the mystical Elladrin as viewed from a captive and servant. Hesturne's tale explains how his life was forfeit to the Fae by "The Law of Surprise", how he was groomed as a servant, and how he eventually spent nearly three-hundred mortal years as a Hedgeknight. This complete tale is one of the most well documented cases of a mortal servant of the Elladrin ever put to page and praised by scholars for its insight into the strange customs of the Faewild's seasonal courts, and the danger that surrounds their interactions with the mortals of Orr. Since its publication it has become a much sought after volume by planar travelers and perhaps moreso by rural communities throughout the continent whose domains touch wilds where the fae are known to hold concert.

"Walking With The Elements" by Tannas Gnorland

Tannas Gnorland is one of Orr's most prestigious planar academics and has published over fifty volumes detailing her travels in the mysterious realms beyond the Prime Material. "Walking With The Elements" was her first literary work to gain the attention of a widescale audience beyond the rectors of such notable academies as the Circle of Nine. This fascinating grimoire details over thirty years of discovery in the planes of Fire, Earth, Air, and Water and is considered by many to be the definitive report of the landscapes and beings which a traveler might encounter in their own adventures to these far-flung planes. "Walking With The Planes" includes maps, travel destinations, and even interviews with notable denizens of these realms making it a must-have grimoire for anyone intending to step into the wild beyond of the planes.

"Interview With A Dhampyr" by Ricca Ane

Despite "Interview With A Dhampyr" being largely a work of fiction (with a story that has captured the hearts of many) it has become a notable book for scholars of the planes because of its detailed descriptions of the plane known only as "Ravenloft" or the "Dread Realms." While few travelers have ever knowingly made Ravenloft their intended destination, many have unwittingly stumbled into it by chance, fate, or design by the mysterious entitites who simply call themselves "The Dark Powers." The Dread Realms are considered to be twisted reflections of the Prime Material world, and in some writings referred to specifically as 'prison' universes. But whose prison? This novel is a detailed account of one such prisoner of Ravenloft and his eon-long struggle to undo his tragic fate.
