Mannec & Narsus

Ideals & Flaws

The twin gods, Mannec and Narsis, are the embodiment of mortal ego and its falsehoods. Depicted as spritely, colorful flower-children dancing upon clouds and holding aloft tempestous offerings for those foolish enough to grasp for them. No mortals openly worship the Twins but denial of their domains only serves to strength it.   Mannec and Narsus are considered to be the cruelest of the Endless. They are more frigid than the god of Death, more capricious than the Goddess of Storms, and more terrifying than the God of Monsters. Mannec and Narsus hold power over every dreamless night, over every lie and insecurity that worms its way into mortal minds, and they revel in dismantling a mortal life like they were nothing more than cheap toys.   Their domains are ones of such nightmarish quality that few mortals can withstand their patronage before being driven absolutely mad. They are the least well known of all the Endless, and they are without doubt the most feared. No one knows how they came to survive Deus Gloria and rule over such abstract domains, and no one sensible would dare investigate it or risk losing their minds.   The Twin's divine essense guard a sepulcrum of the River Crux known only as "The House of Fear Itself". It is said that this sub-plane of the river of death guards all of mortal ego and id against the forces of ancient, cthonic beings. It is a place of insane, unending terror and those who have entered it without proper preparation are said to be transformed into Psychopomps from their experiences.
