Apocrypha

Apocrypha is the Plane of knowledge, secrets and magic. It is from this dimension that the eight arcane winds roar across the multiverse. When the heaven-dragon struck Orr and the Planar gates were opened at the Starwell, it was the Plane of Apocrypha that caused the most severe damage to the world. While demons and monsters marched upon the land from the other Planes it was the unbridled winds of magic from Apocrypha that distorted time, making it flow in all directions and creating uncountable mirror-futures, possible-pasts and splinter-presents. Some philosophers and researchers believe that it was during that infinite timeline where all possibilities became both real and unreal that Orr was forever changed and the Dungeon Dimension was brought into being from the remnants of millions of possible realities collapsing.
Because of its temporal nature Apocrypha is not an easy plane to reach and extremely dangerous one to travel to. There’s no way to know when you will arrive in Apocrypha, where you will appear or when you will leave. There are, however, certain areas of Apocrypha that are known to us, though no one quite knows how the knowledge reached the prime material plane.
