They are often mistaken as relatives of Goliaths due to their build, but have no relation to Goliths or Giants. They are an artificially created race, made using the Nagothian Vortex by Archmagus Rowlen, crafted from clay, stone, and mud and given the spark of life. Each variant was created for a specific purpose, and for the duration of his lifespan were required to follow that purpose. The Cyclopes variant is the most common. They resemble large humanoids with a single, central eye. They are similar to their inspiration, the Cyclops, with broad, hulking frames, and they usually have thick, coarse hair. They were designed to be laborors, to fill the Isles' need for workers after the end of the Age of Iron. The Loxores are much more brutal in their design, granted a thick, grey hide, and protruding tusks. While they keep that same, singular eye as their Cyclopes cousins, they rarely have hair, althoguh some are exceptions. The Panoptes subspecies are the rarest, having been designed to be leaders and overseers. They are soemwhat less physically priminent than their cousins, but their most noticeable trait is the presence of a triangle of three eyes, giving them unusually sharp vision.
