Circles of Magic

A Circle of magic is a defined set of magical spells. Each Circle represents a specific element or similar field of magic. Access to a Circle is gained as a Perk. Each Circle has a linear progression where more spells become available as Skill in the Circle increases. This is commonly expressed as a numeric value for accumulated Circles of that type.   Spells can belong to more than one Circle. Their effects are the same regardless of which Circle they are learned from.   Each Circle, when used to create magic items, imbues the object with a distinctive coloured aura. These auras always have two colours.
