Diplomatic talks broke down when a covert raid on Argenthold's research facility, allegedly orchestrated by Eryndale, resulted in the destruction of a prototype. Argenthold retaliated with a devastating aerial assault on Eryndale's coastal defenses, sparking full-scale war.

Deployment
