Winston McShane

Winston McShane is a gentleman and a criminal.

Situated in Trezzo there's very little that happens in Anhalo, The Second that doesn't reach Winston's ears.

He sees himself as a necessary evil in the criminal underworld, his power is vast and his reach extensive. He prides himself on keeping the more volatile aspects of this dark side of the Duchy to a minimum, keeping crime to theft and embezzlement, crimes that harm corporations, as opposed to protection rackets and organised murders.

Despite his many dealings and 'business' opportunities being known by the Anhalo Investigators, arresting Winston would be near impossible, the man has covered his tracks in almost all situations, even just finding him to arrest him is near impossible, with almost every ship captain in the Empire either owing, or knowing someone who owes Winston a favour, and a near encyclopaedic knowledge of the Trezzo docks, anyone who looks to fight Winston on his own turf is going to spend most of their time chasing ghosts and being hunted themselves.
