The Ruby Rod
The Ruby Rod is the symbol of leadership within The Nine Layered Hells and the personal weapon and tool of Zelezeth, Lord of the Hells.
A large golden sceptre, topped with an intricately carved giant ruby, the Ruby Rod is the ultimate representation of exuberant wealth and power throughout the entire universe. The rod is known to possess incredible power and strength in both physical and magical power. It is said that it's wielder is able to sunder entire armies with a single swing or unleash such a torrent of magical energy that can do near anything.
The rod was created alongside the hells during Age of Renewal and was found upon the throne of Nyasa by Zelezeth. He used this tool to bring all the newly formed devils under his control and bind them to his will.
It is known that any creature that manages to wield the rod would become the new ruler of hell and all devils, this feat was attempted by Henvol, The Traitor during the chaos of The Schism leaving him forever frozen on his layer of L'Reus.
