The Bitter Ring was a mercenary company working in Elentaria.
The company was founded by Zoarack Half-Jaw and Arthur Baird, two former soldiers of Military of The Dawn.
The company started with noble ambitions, primarily taking roles guarding nobles or merchants, bolstering town militias, or defending caravans. However after the death of Baird, the company began to take more illicit work, assassinations, destruction of property, industry sabotage, and bolstering hostile armies.
The Bitter Ring would eventually take a job from Dravin Cazamir, they had already performed an assassination for him in the 760s, but this was a permanent position. This job would prove the be the companies undoing, as it led to their war on the streets of Cypren against The Abnormals, and the deaths of the three captains and most of their forces.
