Parker Garrington was the Duke of Dalry, The Thirteenth.
The Garrington family ruled for many centuries and Parker took the rank of Duke from his father. Percival Garrington only six years ago. The role wasn't originally going to be his as he once had an older brother who died in 773PS. Instead of naming his grandson as his heir, Percival named his younger son, fearing the youth of Alexander Garrington would make him ill-prepared to rule.
Hotheaded and brash the Duke started the war with Almus, The Tenth over a border disagreement. However many think the Duke was looking for any excuse to whip the duchy into a nationalistic fervour against an old enemy, to stop criticism against him. This war would prove to be Parker's undoing as some of his own plotted against him in a coup to end the war he started. Parker was exiled on pain of death along with his husband and other loyal forces, ensuring he would not rise as Duke again.
