Lor Anoch Civil War

The war took place between those who wished to go to war with The Dawn Empire and reclaim Taurina, The Forth and those who didn't wish to anger their hostile neighbours.
Tensions over Taurina and the border had been growing ever since the peace treaty was signed, many disagreed with the treaty and wished to continue the long war in order to push back the invaders wheras others felt that if they didn't stop the war now, the sovereignty of Lor Anoch would be lost. These tensions grew to a boiling point when Duchess Verossiel of House Abrainia, ruler of the duchy of Abriala, one of Lor Ancoh's five duchies, suceeded from the main country declaring the House of Anochia to be tratiors to their ancestors and all those who died in The Schism protecting their reign. After this line was drawn the other duchies picked sides either for or against King Feanor  and his stance of upholding the peace treaty.
The side of Abriala hired the largest mercenary company from Ogvir in order to supplement the armies of them and their ally, against the forces of Anochia and theirs.
Iros' Bane, the mercenary company hired by Abriala, spread havoc amongst the royal troops with their unconventional and dishonourable tactics. However, during the thirteenth and final year of the war they were promised a parcel of land in Abriala is they switched sides and fought for the king.
This betrayal quickly changed the tides of the war and the royal forces crushed those of Abriala and Duchess Verossiel was killed in battle. This spelled the end of the failed revolution and ever since Abriala and her ally have been forced to pay reperations to the crown in order to rebuild parts of the destroyed county. The agreement was kept with Iros' Bane leading to a collection of northmen finding their home in the land of the elves.
