Glerius Juliant I
Glerius Juliant I became Emperor when he watched his father be hanged from the rafter of the Auburn Palace at the start of The Third Stormcharger Rebellion.
After the dust had settled and the rebels either bought off, killed, or fled, all eyes landed on the new Emperor. The young Glerius had much to catch up on, not expecting to be thrust into the role of ruler so soon.
He would soon marry and have his own children, ensuring that he would continue his family line. Always paranoid of assassination after watching his own father be killed, Glerius kept to himself and sheltered his family, it is said that he rarely left his chambers, often requesting meetings be held within his bedroom rather than the grand halls of the palace he watched his father die in.
Despite his clear distress and reluctance regarding his role, he is remembered positively and caused no harm to the realm.
He ruled from 630-689 PS.
