Session 71: When Last We Met 2/25/24

General Summary

When last we met, the party awoke in the Verdant Repose and decided to make plans to get their comrades back. Celeste's Pseudo Dragon, along with a wild shaped Tensi, Fly over the Slozhny mansion to scope it out. They find it reasonably well guarded and formidable against an open attack. 
The two winged creatures return to the rest of the party and relay what they found. The party then decide to mount up and meet Artjem face to face. They are brought into the Slozhny Mansion into an overly ornate dining room. Eventually, their host arrives and the party are introduced to Artjem Volim and his second in command, a strikingly beautiful woman named Zmeya. They exchanged tense words and Artjem brought out Arcturus and Isolde - Very much under the control of the necklace of Carceri. And so, under the command of Artjem as they draw their greatswords at his word. 
With a small nod among the players - It is decided that time is now to take this operation down. The dinner party devolves into a bloodbath. The party take their shots at Artjem and Zmeya. And they deal out damage just the same. Amidst the chaos, The Necklaces of Carceri are managed to be removed from Arcturus and Isolde. Bringing them back into the party's fold. 
The party manage to down the enforcers, including Zmeya, relatively quickly And Tensi deals the final killing blow to Artjem himself. The dust hasn't settled though as more henchmen are on their way to engage the party. Once they bypass Mistral's spike growth trap. 
And that's where we'll pick up next time!

• Party sends Tensi and Moonwing to Scout the Slozhny Mansion
• Party heads to the mansion
• Engages in battle with Artjem Volim and the Volim Clan
• Artjem, Zmeya, and several henchmen are killed in the battle
• Arcturus and Isolde are found!
