Session 13 - When Last We Met - 11/7/22

General Summary

When last we met, The party, having learned of the location of the Fey Crossing (And its precise location with further questioning of Jussi) and depart immediately that night, Heading to their shipmaster, Hadley "The Liar" and requesting she take them to Oghma. Hadley agrees, as long as they pay what they owe so far for her Per Diem rate of waiting around on the island which the party does. And so, in the middle of the night, Hadley sets sail with The party, their bear, and one of their horses toward the mysterious and inhospitable island of Oghma.
En route the following day, The party's vessel, The Meridian, was attacked by sea creatures called Sahuagins along with a shark they were telepathically controlling. The party fought them off from atop the deck of their ship, eventually downing the sea beasts with spell and arrow, forcing the shark to retreat down to the depths. 
The seas were calm after that little skirmish as they made their way finally to Oghma. The party makes their way from the black sand beach into the island proper following a path on the western side of the island as Jussi instructed. Deeper into the dense jungle,  The party encountered a strange tentacled panther called a Displacer Beast. It reared up to attack them when a mysterious teleporting dog seemed to chase it away. The dog, they found out belonged to a friendly Eladrin named Thengel who after meeting the party, decided to help them reach the fey crossing (at their own peril). 
He brings them easily to the location where the Fey crossing is as the moon crests high in the sky. They see 2 Wyverns, creatures distantly related to dragons, sleeping just beyond the pool. The party poorly attempts to stealth past them and instead awakens the beasts as Ivyre loudly comes to the realization that these creatures are the transformed gods mentioned in Jussi's tale about the fey crossing. The 2 flying lizards awaken and prepare to attack their prey.

Teranus and Herne - Two Wyvern's whom are the apparent transformations by the scorned gods who created the Wildrim Islands.
