General Howlett grew up in the exorbitantly wealthy community of Elder Peak. He lived a privileged, charmed life. He enlisted in the military in his early 20's and spent about 10 years traveling and working up the ranks. He retired under strange circumstances in his early career returning to active military duty during the war for independence. He has been brought out of retirement once again in the campaign to retake Auldsod.
