Isadore City

Largest and most important city on Isadore Island. Located in the southeast, on the bay. Center for trade in the region, and due to its political stability, also something of a center for politics. More important the Portto Ringo, though that city is the official seat of government in the island.

Demographics

Mixed: largely human, but lots of elves, half-elves, gnomes, a fair number of halflings, dwarved and so on, as well as other types. Includes some gith, some drow, and yuan-ti, tabaxi and so on.

Government

COntrolled by a council of three: 1) Appointed by the Count (or the governor 2) chosen by the guilds of the city; 3) chosen by the church - and thus usually reporting directly to the king. In 1615, the 1st is Lady Elaine Fairchild, appointed by Falconi, the governor, for her work in negotiating an end to the pirate wars.

Extensive.

Assets

The interior is rich in all the goods of the south - coffee, tea, sugar, spices, minerals and so on. This is also a major trading center, and a growing financial center.

Located on a broad, deep harbor, surrounded by high lands.
