Soko-lion
Lionkin and tigon that dwell on Sokoma. They moved in sometime ago after tikerin and rylcin had dominated the landscape. They landed somewhere in the central valley regions at first, and managed to sustain themselves while conflict distracted the nearest settlements over a fued of farming land. Lionkin multiplied very fast, a trait that soon became entangled with some late tigiren settlers. The term of Sokoma lions, or soko-lions, are essentially blurred into even Tigon hybrids that began to boom and grow across the planet. Soko-lions have a wide planet range, but are thought to be most visible and empowered in the souther prarie & low grasslands lands.
Over years, they became more integrated across society. Tikerin at first seemed concerned, and even had some small protests, but many opened up to not only allowing, but actually adopting and courting with lionkin and even some tigiren. These lionkin largely hold to normal values, up to including serfdom and popping 'scandals' (as other see it). However they have updated their tech, and understanding, and tend to act quite fluidly to many situations. They've adopted planetary farming customs, and tend to carry firepower even if they brandish spears first.
Ideals
Beauty Ideals
Minor quirks have settled into their culture. They generally have attraction to 'normal' things for their species, and even have less of a chubby cuddler kink than some colonies that got more invested into it. Many lioness strive to be fit, and good field workers, reducing the need for midnights as opposed to tikerin farms. However from tikerin and the passed-down influence of "quack" doctors have began to participate in large cat-stretching exercises, and are a little more into stretching. So its not uncommon for lionkin to practice this more feverishly along even their own regions as it spread, but especially promote it more from the presence of tikerin harems. However they prefer to do this between themselves in some cases, fearing the extra pull tikerins have. Also when courted from the tigiren spectrum of the aisle, many lioness stand and go through stripe-paintings - at the very least, its a common couples thing for tigiren to paint stripes to "mark" the health and benefit of tigon cubs over the lioness' belly once they begin to show a progressing bump of pregnancy. This is seen as either a thing of beauty to supportive hybrid communities, while dreadful to those that prefer 'purity'. Tigiren have fallen into cravings of the huntress physique, and enjoy the softness of Lion Lard, and typically tend to fatten and overfeed their lioness after they've had a litter (and sometimes, begin work even earlier). Its virtually certain that lioness migrating to a tiger's harem will put on a lot of weight, and some dread or anticipate this different role and their hybrid kitties.
Courtship Ideals
Lionkin value mostly their roots, and still facilitate female 'ownership' and patriarchy. However across diverse species, its very common for them to adopt across. Lioness have been traded into tikerin and tigiren societies alike. Unfortunately something some may call the 'Sokoma curse' has made its waves onto the Soko-lions, especially the true lionkin. Between early protests that demanded and coerced lionkin to "keep their grounds, and stay in their mansions" by early tikerin bigotry, then a later wave of heavy stretching sessions, family units became more intimate and dependant on the inner unit. Instead of training and moving into a wider lion state system, the 'state' formation didn't form as solid, and many lioness are raised to be trained or return around their native homes and don't think about moving on until later. Naturally, the males have aged around them, and add on the new ritual of social stretching, inbreeding has began to take a stronger hold than usual as males simply assert themselves on their own family females instead of doing the work to market and fetch outsiders. On the positive side, lionkin aren't as harmed as many species get from this genetic crime, and typically faults are only visual impairments and 'ugly' blemishes of mane issues, and increased white/black discoloration. Despite finding these as bad traits, some lionkin insist they'd rather breed together in-house folks on hand than to risk obeying a sale to aliens. Tigon are far better at avoiding this, usually driven by their unique heritage to look outside, or that they have no purity checks to follow. Additionally tigiren never encountered a strong presence of the psudo-medical field, and didn't have the same influences pushed on them to follow, giving the tigon one less parent that would enable or suggest such issues.
