Ho'naht
The Ho'nahtians are a humanoid race of people that may regionally vary between the Token-to-Comet classification on the Cross-Discovery Association Metric scale. They inhabit a universe known as the Njohsh Universe. It was once believed this species uplifted the Ryclins, though this was actually mistaken for some old imprints their kind had from larger stumbles into the OA. The species has gone on to have some loose prominence across the omniverse, and has the capable travel methods and tech, but is stifled by inner world division that has kept some large parts isolated enough that some visitors are half steeped in superstitious mythos.
Despite aggression held of one type, mostly dictated by the strict laws and governance of Planet Qorraxen, the Ho'naht are not a very outwardly hostile race to most others. At their worst, they can be arrogant, or tribal. At their best, they assume a very zen like mindset and presence. Despite this there is also the ever-remembered past of their own kind that had a war-like ethnic side murder countless across stories of savagery. Various types and categories of the Ho'naht have died, leaving it down to mostly three, and a system where one is ruling the others by mostly diplomatic and corporatist ties

Basic Information
Anatomy
All Ho'Nahtian people are essentially bulky framed bipedal humanoids without any serious or striking extra appendages of serious flexibility. However they have managed to evolve somewhat odd traits by their environment or clan evolution. These vary by ethnic types. All have five fingers, four toes with a spaced out center, flat feet, and fairly bulky muscular physique.
Kh'abbi
[Keh-ah-bee] Kh'abbi - also Kab for shorthand speak, often regarded as a slur when spoken by other Ho'naht - are silver skinned variants. They are often taller by a slight margin, and modestly slimmer. They have stalks above their eyebrows that assist in both smell, but also sometimes read off signals of emotions and some sensory of thought output. While not "psychic", they are somewhat empathic. They are often quick thinkers, resolute, and swift social workers. Across progress of their universe, they have become the dominant race and rule over Qorraxen, and have corporations that have aspired to rule over other planets like the mining ripe planet of M'nyulis. They lack much sexual dimorphism, and more communicate to mates through their stalks.Shgoht
[She-got] These guys are the furriest of the Ho'naht remaining, often having thick and dense orange-red, or brown fur across most of their body. Males tend to grow more at the chin, while females have slightly shorter head fur and an odd "horn" at their forehead. They are the only surviving Ho'naht that doesn't have a set of cranium stalks, and as such are regarded as the logically weakest, even if they're still vastly capable. Despite their potential, years of surrender and hardships to strict Kab laws have reduced their average family intellect and ideals, with many working as miners that mostly just survive stories and ideas by oral tales. However their fur has reduced some disease, and infection issues, and has made them durable against some harsh wind storms. They are bulkier but shorter than the Kh'abbi, and tend to be on the better side of physical endurance.Gvaht
Potentially bred between the Kab, and the now extinct Jukaht warriors, the Gvaht were nomadic philosophers of an older time, and now try a mix of odd and sometimes confused oral traditions to find their way in the new terms of their world. They are often green, orange, or yellow, and have stalks around their head, and carry the heftier bulk image of a Shgoht. Their stalks "smell" better as a sensory receptor without much for empathic abilities, but they still possess that in a more subconscious level, sometimes "awakened" by meditation. This variant is the most often found in the OA, from older trips taken by venturing hermits. Gvaht also have the longest "tail", even it is just a barely flexible stub. Culturally they are often disorganized, and scattered out, sometimes seen as merchants among both societies, while other times being crucial to convoluted political plots and disputes between the other two groups.Genetics and Reproduction
The species is a strange one considered only 'partially mammalian' as they developed many traits and even some nutritional co-dependency on milk. However for some reason or another, they never evolved to form their own, and instead sought a special milk off another animal from their planet of origin, Nahtia. Through farming industry, and even later genetic developments, they've perfected this form of milk and distribution as a way to help nurse their young when born. ... that being said, this system has also since become a part of divisions and warfare, with threats of withdrawing shipments quickly crippling morale as it means starving the young.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Technically the Ho'naht are omnivores, but they mostly eat plant, nuts, and berry type life. However they will eat insects, seasoned fowl type meats, the Kh'abbi specifically will eat some fish, and the now-gone Jukaht would even cannibalize.
Civilization and Culture
History
The Ho'naht once lived as a more diverse species, with various clans and relations eventually evolving into fairly different and distinctive people. Some of these were lost to history and conflicts, but eventually one group prevailed to offer the rest a truce over space age ability. This race grew to be the Kh'abbi, and placed their first colonies and tech structures along a planet that would be called Qorraxen. Once they made the experimental sacrifices among their own kind, the others entrusted them enough until the Kh'abbi grew to hold technological dominance and order over others during the Ho'Nahtian Space Wars. By the time of the war's beginnings, a couple centuries of industrialization had crafted Qorraxen to be a dystopian dominance in their favor, while start up colonies along M'nyulis, and even some experimental universal-drifts were being worked with. This had odd pull-back effects and disappearances of the race from other universal histories for war divisions. Among one of the colony worlds, Jukhan started to selectively breed a brand of warriors that blurred the line and evolved out two clans to form the Jukhat.
The Jukhat started what would be classified as its own set of wars, waging battle with all for control and push-back. They made no truce ties with other groups or races, and in fact cannibalized most 'weaker' and raping the Kh'abbi in a capacity that would eventually start its own set known as the Gvaht. There was even some small pioneering using stolen tech to meddle or pull 'support' from other universes, but this didn't last too long. The Jukhat were technologically disadvantaged and had bad civil developments that only got worse with war collateral taking out some use of tools like universal travel, and even loss to the homeworld of Nahtia during a bad bombing that cleared their pockets of colonies. Eventually all supplies they had to get the milk required for new life was stunted, and they were fought back to only possessing Jukhan itself. With a siege and bombing crippling them, they finally surrendered to Kh'abbi dependancy, but by then there were such hard feelings that the milk given to them was poisoned, and the rest of the race steadily erased. Ever since then the Kh'abbi have tried to hold a stronger power over the remaining dependent group of Shghot, and keep ideals of their smarter Gvaht kin at a controlled caution. Due to the prevailing technology on Qorrxen, they are still a technically capable and diverse race able to travel around, but laws and strange restrictions still make it an odd gray area to work with.
