Cloud-90
A controversial franchise blooming soon after Cuddle Huddle with a very similar premise, used with a strong Ovebis basis. Female 'sheep' or ovebis are essentially selling their bodies to be fattened up, and cuddle with guests. The name is a nod to the 'puffy cloud' nature of fatter woolly sheep, and the phrase of cloud-nine is spun more towards a pruposed minimum weight most skinny ovebis on the team should gain. Its controversial not only for stealing the idea from lionkin, but even among its own people as its considered promoting weight-gain in a time where its accelerating in certain ovebis communities. Its further contested as they require its workers to avoid most sheering. Despite this it is proving to be a functional franchise, and has a supporting base.
These shops tend to pop up in high tourist zones, or in certain specific ovebis settlements especially if supported or under the BPC wing. In tourist cases, they seek to appeal as an exotically soft 'cottonball' for petting or entertaining aliens with a chubby kink. In more large ovebis settlements that promote it, there is a shifting and diverging local sentiment in which some are embracing huskier bodies while a few still hold out against it; typically notable on Eldaras and a few BPC integrated colonies. Most store-fronts have two core sections, being divided as "Petting" (cuddle, pets, conversation, board games, family-friendly atmosphere), and the other is "Full Wool" which dives into more promiscuous matters, and in some cases are being used as a deliberate ploy to grow the colony. However its also possible to buy into a Full Wool section, exclusively to get a bed and treat each facility like an inn. Most Cloud-90s have a cafeteria and allow feeding, but some are more closed off and for the staff alone to feed themselves. Sometimes these closed-off cafeterias are more used for "training", in which new females often start confused and skinny, and are taught soft speaking voices and good manners while being fattened up with copious junkfood.
Compared more directly to their competitors, Cuddle Huddles are still more 'premium' from the more plush conditions unique to lion-fat, but Cloud-90 still catches on in its own way, or with more herviore-centric fans that are more intimidated by feasting lions. There's also some studies arguing it does improve the health and softness of the wool-fur.
