Hunter Bycoa Of Quallo

Bycoa is a ryclin solavore that was actually born outside the technical OA perimeters, within a Vyllk city on Cauven called Quallo. She became a bounty hunter with motivations from a local academy, and was given lessons and equipment above most self-taught solavores. She is often dressed for missions in emerald suiting, and sports an olive and red bodily color. She has different Keeper outfits but tends to favor yellow or red. She's become a slight friend of Kipp's over events, and vaguely knows of The Drifters whilst declining from every joining them.

Personal history

Bycoa grew up close to a brother, and caring mother and father, and met some small friends like a purple harpy named Tsuyoo. She was more motivated and active than most of her family, and motivated and enrolled in the solavore academy once her basic learning was done. After graduating, she realized how much she missed some people while away learning, and tried to deepen her bond with Tsuyoo as she was moving onto her own career as a Color-show dancer.

Bycoa meets Kipp along a shared mission on Ursari. She is only mentioned at first on security disturbance, scaling up the walls of a vital facility as she makes a sneakier entry while Kipp has been fighting for the frontal assault. At first when the two solavores meet, the two believe each other share a similar conflicted target. The two first fight as rivals, but they quickly understand each other were after different targets. Kipp snatches her target, and assists as Bycoa turns to her own problems. Bycoa was in fact, employed by a K'siiva client. While Bycoa remains half-unsure about the K'siiva as a whole, she's been entrusted enough with the duty to swallow away a 'runt' by the authority of one of their aura-sages. Kipp is a witness to such events, planting the seeds to what becomes a mystery of the K'siiva she later chases in her own events.
Since then Bycoa has appeared in occasional occurrences as a friend. She only met up with Kipp after there Ursari job though more than a year apart, and had to adjust to the evolution Kipp endured in making Drifter Corp. She's also been a notable early victim of Fungal Cooties during its outbreak on Cauven. She went to the Feather Belly Lounge to feed her cravings, and ended up slowly infecting the staff and Kipp. She was cured in a narrow save from a nearly terminal self-inflicted condition the virus encouraged her to go through, but went through a quick recovery. Later featured in her own solavore mission Return of The Emerald Dragon, she is still shedding some weight while making her own way through Felyra for a suspicious target.

Education

Bycoa specifically states she was motived to her career in a city on the vyllkard homeworld of Cauven. The course is actually relatively quick, lasting only three months, but she uptook solavore career training that went through cues of hunting technique, tool tests, travel and ship maintenence, and was even given access and lessons to more advanced tools and modding kits that put her ahead of common solavores. In reflection, she suggests such an academy is needed on Cauven due to a growing 'laziness' of the ryclin minority that dwells there residentially, and that it is healthier for both ecosystem and their own kind to produce incentives to soar out in more proactive encounters.

Morality & Philosophy

Bycoa is somewhat brash. Willing to be up front, and make an impact, she will push and fight if that's what it takes to narrow down a victory. In some instances, she struggles to remain civil if revenge or aggression is even hinted at by another opposing party. However among friends and close peers, she does what it takes to act kind or try to bring out their best - even if she may seem pushy in the process. She's caring, and sentimental to her area, sometimes considering even odd friendly things like making sure the vyllk prey she buys are affordable in pairs so that they can 'chat' before their demise in her belly. She also has a high level of self-respect, and wishes to strive and keep herself in good form. Presenting herself as fierce, friendly, or courageous is important in the right moments, though sometimes it may make her seem vain or arrogant instead as an unintended consequence.

Bycoa is not very religious, however has lived and spoken around enough vyllk to correct or even accidentally consider mannerisms related to Cossi, ascension, etc. She speaks fluently with the religious, and is careful not to sound dismissive of their ideals.
