Acidic Leak

Acidic leak or back-up is a general term that can actually apply to two different conditions and causes found in the ryclin species. In either scenario, acid leaks from the body through various ways after consuming a certain amount of food. The glands don't hold as much projectile spare acid as what is being produced, and the body begins to expel it like an immune response to bacterial issues. Sneezes, coughs, sinus problems, and drool, all turn to acidic spells that can damage property and cause basic social issues for the moment.
Genetically speaking, the problem is very rare, and uncommon to occur where the born ryclin has a very weak set of glands. However, the more onset one by condition and short-term effect, have been something almost all ryclins face, akin to how many humans have experienced a cramp, or will eventually know the effect of something like a hangover.

Causes

The most natural, and common root cause, is more metabolic. A ryclin that over-indulges and eats too much, or far greater than usual, will often continue to convert excess into acidic stores once its main energy is accounted for. Yet with too much food, it makes too much acid, and so this causes a back-up to develop where the acid has to flow out unnaturally in a back-up discharge akin to a cold fit. This often lasts for an hour, or even thirty minutes, with only rare instances of this being a prolonged effect. If one continues to experience this effect from over-eating, it will eventually stop when the body changes its redistribution, but this can lead to more severe issues like Ryclin Diabetes or Hop Decay 
However, if one is born with weak glands, it can be set off more sporadically by even regular or just casually more large meals. It is recommended they rest somewhere alone and safe after hunting, so as to wake up in a place where its safe or fortified to expel acid if they need to.

Symptoms

• Looser acid projectiles (less "sticky" with a more watered down passage)
• Sneezing
• Coughing
• An "empty" stomach ache (Occasionally, from strange cramping that can occur with excess acid creation)
• Excess salivating
• A migraine
• Fever (rare)

Treatment

Treatment varies a bit, with the average being special pills to help retain or build tighter molecules of acid that won't overflow. These pills are taken both daily, and one additionally with any meal that's roughly 40% of the ryclin's size. In more extreme scenarios, the glands can get operated on and suppressed, or the ryclin will have a metabolic shot that forces their digestion process to slow down so that the acid doesn't create too fast. However, in the case of slowing down, this can also make the ryclin more moody, and prone to stomach aches of carrying prey for much longer than organically intended.
