This trading post is owned by the Ward Duke. It is the only place where hunters and trappers can legally sell the furs they harvest. This is to control trapping and hunting on the hinterland, which is overseen by the Ward Duke. Every fifth fur goes to the Ward Duke. the "Finest of Five."
