Bipedal and dexterous monsters roaming the reaches of the Verdant Steppes. Feared for their ability as a grappler and their capacity to bite through bone with their bizarrely flat teeth. Simian in frame but as hairy as a bear, the Simodontes are omnivorous and very territorial and thus rarely stray beyond their coniferous forests. Their small size and low intellect reduce their dangerosity and makes them a good target for combat practice. Expeditions into the Fana Forest to hunt down Simodontes are a popular Makarithian exercise.
