Súleisadhë

The Súleisadhë (Elvish: "days of shadow") are a stretch of five holy days of the Wild Dynasty religion celebrated during the Wolf Moon and the waxing and waning gibbous periods surrounding it. It is said to be a time where Morigana can see the furthest into the cosmos, when aided by her followers, and grant otherwise unknowable truths to those who need to hear them. Indeed, diviners—particularly those of northern Scalados—find that their powers reach their zenith at the peak of the Súleisadhë and in the weeks just after.   During the Súleisadhë, worshippers sleep only during the peak of the sun and keep all-night vigils, lit only by faint magical lights. Those who cannot conjure magical light may use small lanterns, hooded and covered with blue glass so that the light is as dim and cool-toned as possible. The high-pitched, eerie song of the Súleisadhë is sung throughout the night, led by high priestesses and specially ordained flutists. Some say that the howling of the song is the namesake of the Wolf Moon.       At Ohtánio-in-Morigana, nuns who take the sacred vow of Moriganian silence do so under the full moon of the Súleisadhë. From then on, the only sound that ever escapes their lips is the song sung beneath the moon on these nights. In exchange for their silence, they are granted one perfect and true prophecy by the goddess herself. If they break their vows by speaking any other words, the prophecy is permanently erased from their minds; if they break their vows by speaking the prophecy, they die immediately after it is uttered.
