Spring Court
The Spring Court is the name given to both the lower court of Seelie fey and the geographic area of the Feywild in which they reside.
It is a land of constant change; forests of enormous mushrooms spring up overnight, and time seems to race forward in comparison with the Material Plane. The spectrum of visible light reverses, much as it does in the Summer Court. Denizens of the Spring Court include sprites, pixies, tanuki, and faerie dragons.
The leader of the Spring Court is the Runaway Queen. The current Fool of the Fey of the Spring Court is Vanya Robustin, the Canny Fool.
Locations
- The Rolobolin Glades, typical home of the Tanuki
- Solántuinn, a coastal Eladrin town that holds the Eternal Lighthouse
- The Melting Pond, a lake on the edge of the Winter Court said to contain a two-way portal to a remote glade in the Near Isles
Structure
The Spring Court is the smallest of the fey courts, with only four members. Besides the Runaway Queen, they are as follows:
- Robin Goodfellow, Prince of Sprites
- Hyram, Prince of Satyrs
- Lerue, Queen of Talking Beasts
- King Tomonoke, King of Tanuki
Public Agenda
The Spring Court is the most openly chaotic of the four Fey Courts, though none are exceptionally lawful-aligned. Its goal is to confuse and disrupt the expectation of power the Summer Court has traditionally held.
