Sir Odoreth the Foul
Sir Odoreth the Foul, Hand of Hezrou is a Death Knight common in the legends of Erdelan. In life, he was a Paladin of Twyr who served as the captain of the royal guard at Castiel Elizjona. He betrayed the royal court and led a charge upon the castle under the command of a vampire who promised him everlasting life. When he drank her blood, the latent power of the Demon Lord Camazotz met with the oath of Twyr intertwined with his soul, and the two destroyed each other. It is said that Zuggtmoy, Demon Queen of Rot, was the parasitic essence that seeped into his being in his soul's absence.
A horrible stench follows Sir Odoreth the Foul, whose armor drips with greenish ichor. Dark tendrils hang out of the chin of his helmet where his beard would have been in life; they move on their own accord, and are said to drink the blood of Sir Odoreth's victims. Instead of other knights or Undead creatures, he often commands a battalion of demons, particularly the Hezrou he is most closely associated with.
