Camazotz
Camazotz the Blind King, Ancient Among Vampires, Demon Lord of Bats and Fire, is the king of the layer of Etzilioch in the Abyss. He surveys his layer from its highest recesses, wrapped in his leathery wings and hanging among the stalactites.
Camazotz is the original sire of all vampires, most of whom still worship him as their creator and divine. He can suck not only the blood from unsuspecting mortals, but also their life essence and strength. If he kills a mortal via this method, they rise as a vampire completely enthralled by him until such time as he deigns to give them free will.
Somewhere within the unbearable heat of his caves is believed to be a portal to the Elemental Plane of Fire; he bears the mantle of Huhueteotl of the Hearth, a shimmering cloak of heat and orange flame that allows him the power to incinerate even powerful devils on command when he emerges from his crypt to join the Blood Wars
