Lord Jheronimous
Lord Jheronimous, Scion of Moloch was a Death Knight called into service by the Lich King of the Black Keep. He led the Dread Battalion. He was defeated by the Heroes of Brightwater in the spring of Y1094 and banished back to the plane of Moloch.
Lord Jheronimous was once the fair and just leader of the Commonwealth Rangers, a sworn knight of Osiris whose duty was to protect County Brightwater from evil. However, he and half of his command fell under the sway of the Lich King of the Black Keep in Y1090, breaking their oaths to follow him and harvest souls in the countryside. A civil war broke out between the remaining Commonwealth Rangers and the traitors. The traitors lost and were all slain in battle. However, the Lich King performed a dark ceremony to ally with the Archdevil Moloch, turning Lord Jheronimous and all of his followers into hateful Undead warriors, fated never to find rest except through an act of great redemption.
Lord Jheronimous was slain by Lucretia Britt in the Battle of the Black Keep in Y1094. His spirit is presumed to have been banished to somewhere in the Lower Planes, as all unrepentant death knights are. He was last seen for a brief time on the Day of Ascension at the Eye of Sarastro. It is unknown whether he appeared because of the portals to the Nine Hells that were summoned, or via some other powerful magic. He was slain by the angel Aziraphale.
