John Thomas is a 3rd-level spellcaster. He uses Charisma as his spellcasting ability (+6 to hit, spell save DC 16). He has the following bard spells known:
Cantrips (at will): light, vicious mockery
1st level (3 slots): faerie fire, healing word, heroism, silvery barbs
2nd level (1 slot): knock, magic weapon
Rage (2/day). As a bonus action, John can enter a rage. For one minute, he gains advantage on Strength checks and saving throws, deals an extra 2 damage on each hit, and gains resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage. He can't cast or concentrate on spells during this time. Bardic Inspiration (2/day). As a bonus action, John can choose one creature other than himself within 60 feet who can hear him. That creature gains one Bardic Inspiration die, a d6. Once within the next 10 minutes, the creature can roll the die and add the number rolled to one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw it makes.

Handaxe. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 1d6+4 slashing damage.
Reactions
Spotter. When an ally that can see or hear John makes a ranged attack against a target that is behind half cover or three-quarters cover for them but isn't behind cover for John, he can use his reaction to guide their strike. The ally's attack ignores cover.
