Janus

Janus is the Olympian Dynasty god of multitudes, change, and possibility. They preside over New Year's Dawn and its antipode, 1 July (celebrated as the Feast of Janus).   Janus is usually depicted as vaguely Human, but with two faces pointed in opposite directions. The faces often differ wildly: old and young, bearded and hairless, masculine and feminine, etc. There is no set "official" definition, and those who claim to have had visions of or visitations with Janus all describe them differently.   In art and popular culture, Janus is most often referenced as a symbol of queerness. Wearing a Janusian key, particularly a rainbow-colored one, on one's clothing is a way to signal queer sexuality to others.
