Gnomish

Gnomish is the language primarily spoken by Gnomish people. It is also a common lingua franca among artificers of all backgrounds, particularly in the Aquatic Kingdoms. It is one of the oldest languages (alongside Dwarvish and Common) and likely the oldest written language, but it is still widely spoken today throughout the world.

Writing System

Gnomish uses the same alphabet as Common, albeit with many more diacritical marks. (More accurately, said alphabet was invented by the gnomes and Common merely simplified it.)
