Clone

Clone is a powerful method of regenerative resurrection that slowly grows a new adult body from a still-living person, keeping it in stasis until the Soul of its owner departs. Instead of moving to the afterlife, they inhabit the new body and continue living.
The rituals and spells for Clone were first developed in the tower of Navec the Bryght in the early seventh century Age of Integrity, before eyr transformation into Vecna. The spell has generally been considered tainted ever since.

This spell requires 1 cubic inch of flesh and 1 pint of blood from the cloned creature, as well as a crystal tank worth at least 2,500 gp.

Clone is the most taboo method of bringing back the dead in most of modern society. Mages powerful enough to cast this spell are extraordinarily rare, and the sale of Clone scrolls is illegal in most jurisdictions. However, the wealthy and powerful have little trouble finding these scrolls on the black market—particularly if they have connections to the high priests of Morigana or the secret necromancy traditions of Old Bjália.
