Aberration

An aberration is any creature manifested from a portion or aspect of The Great Beyond reaching into the Material Plane, the Underdark, the Liminal Plane, or any other of the Inner and Outer Planes.
Most aberrations have extraordinary intelligence and magical powers that include mind control, telepathy, and telekinesis. They often feed off psychic energy from Humanoid creatures. Aberrations are, as a rule, deeply misanthropic. Encounters between them and humanoids typically end in the humanoid's torture, subjugation, madness, and/or death.
