Somek Fellarch

The Icon of Death

Somek, also known as the Undying Memory, is a short, pale human wizard and priest with long black hair and a frail figure hidden underneath worn and tattered priestly garb of yellow and white. Something noticeable involving Somek is the presence of a figure standing near Him at almost all times, and to those that worship Him that figure is understood to be a flesh golem. Many worshippers of Somek have found themselves as being ones that seek guidance involving death, either to avoid it or conquer it. His mount is recognized as being a Zombified Warhorse.

Dogma

Somek is a scheming necromancer to some, and a cowardly son of a priest to others. Somek Fellarch worshippers and Edmund Kent worshippers tend to find each other in times where one needs courage and the other is close to death. Somek is one to always have a few plans for if the main plan failed. From fighting His own brother Kullus, trapping His soul in His spellbook, being a dean of a college, and even trying to hold His memories of His best friend "Eddie," these are all qualities of wide ranges that influence His worshippers.

Gaining Favor or Redemption

To gain favor with Somek, one must respect the dead. This is more commonly noticed as a nuance of the "Icon of Death", but it is something that makes His worship simple. To lose favor is to disrespect the dead, and to be redeemed is to prevent the souls of those that died from coming back against their will.

Interactions with the world

Somek is always watching over those that died. The Human souls that pass on are guided by Somek's flesh golem to greet Somek on the outskirts of The Great Expanse. However, humans that choose to return are "soul-marked" to never commune with the Icons ever again. This punishment is one that only Humans can bear, as Tenebrous is adamant about life continuing its cycle and not being broken. Worshippers of Somek are often priests, necromancers that use magic to marionette the body instead of forcing a soul within, and healers.
