Edmund Kent
The Icon of Adventurers
Edmund Kent, also known as the Trusted Shield, is an average height human knight with dark brown hair, brown eyes, and clad in piecemeal plate armor. Edmund has the most recognizable features about Him as He wields a tower shield that can plant itself in any terrain, a sword that holds the sun within its blade, and a blackstone amulet that seals away any corruption Edmund comes across. Many worshippers of Edmund are strong-willed adventurers or those that wish to have some of His prowess and guidance. His mount is recognized as being a Warhorse.
Dogma
Edmund is always seeking to aid others and is ever resourceful. What is incredibly common with worshippers of Edmund is those devout enough actually call Him "Eddie" instead. This, to what others hear in disbelief, is actually what He prefers. Edmund is always prepared for entering a dungeon, exploring a region, speaking with political entities, but more importantly, He is always ready for completing the goals He sets for Himself.
Gaining Favor or Redemption
Edmund is an Icon that prefers for His worshippers to aid others and put their personal matters aside to assist those that need it. However, to lose sight of your goals in pursuit of others is something that Edmund will find distasteful. But to give up is something worse. Redeeming yourself is something that requires sacrificing your own time, your own goals, to make sure that others can enjoy their lives for as long as they have them. This even means losing your own pursuits in the process.
Interactions with the world
Edmund usually only interacts with His followers when they are in the heat of battle, or dealing with an almost insurmountable situation. This is most likely due to His desire to seek glory wherever it brings up its head. When a follower of Edmund finds conflict they can't feasibly conquer, He will give them the courage to face it. Worshippers of Edmund Kent are almost always adventurers, but it is also common for best friends to find themselves worshipping "Eddie" to show their affection towards each other as Edmund did for His best friend Somek.
