The Shepherdic Sainthood

A religion formed from the result of the Sylvan Exodus. United in their worship of the Saints known as the Tresii, this religion is widely observed by Elves, Gnomes, Satyrs, and more species that can trace their legacies back to The Sylvan Exodus. They observe a tried of gods known as the Saints who led their flock out of the Fey Realm during the 3rd Courts War. Upon bringing them to the Mortal Realm, they founded societies of their own. After the deaths of the Saints, they ascended to godhood and now act as deities that are worshipped by followers across the world.

Public Agenda

To protect the rights, livlihood, and home of those who share Sylvan ancestry. Mainly through faith. They also worship the godlike being known as the Shepherdic Saints.   Through worship they increase their power and spread their influence, law, and words across the world.

Demography and Population

The Shepherdic Sainthood has millions of wroshippers and thousands of active clergymen. The highest density of these folk lies in their homeland, Dy Pwud. Dy Pwud is the primevial forests they arrived in after walking through the gates into the Mortal Realm. They claimed it as their kingdom and it now serves as the holy seat of their religion and the capital of Elven Culture on Czerelan. However, most of the worshippers for the faith lie outside Dy Pwuds small borders. After the death of the Saints, many of the original populace of Dy Pwud left and intigrated with other societies outside of the forest, but they kept their religion. They spread far enough to reach other continents and founded great temples, shrines, and cities to the Saints and their messages. With most of the population lying outside of its borders, Dy Pwud only holds just under a third of all Sainthood worshippers at 28%. The realm with the second largest population is The Empire of Veret, holding 11% of all Sainthood followers.

Divine Origins

The religion and it's deities come from The Sylvan Exodus, a mass exodus of fey creatures from the Feywild during the 3rd Courts War. With the destruction at their doorstep, thousands were forced to leave their homes and wandered the realm. Whether they were forced by flames burning down their homes, or the armies taking their supplies, the people suffered greatly at the hands of the Archfey and their armies. Until the arrival of the saints. Three individuals who looked past their differences and banded together in order to save their people and escape the horrors of the war. They journeyed through the realm and were chased by both armies through their respective domains. However, upon reaching the gates, they made their way through into the Mortal Realm. However, doing so stripped them of their connection to the Fey and they became the Elves, Gnomes, and other species that share Sylvan histories that inhabit the Mortal Realm. They settled in a large forest and built their kingdom, but after centuries they began to spread out, intigrating into other societies. After the death of the Saints, they ascended to godhood at the moment their kingdom needed them the most and saved it from ruin.
