When Produce Attacks

We have some breaking news this rainy afternoon. Our station received word of an arcane incident that happened at the Shimmerwick Willfred's. It's still ongoing and we have not heard back from our team we sent to the site.
At 10:30 this morning havoc broke loose in the fresh produce section of the popular grocery store. Witnesses who fled the scene reported seeing a blue glow surrounding several of the displays before it happened.

One minute I'm eyeballin' their selection of tomatoes to find some for dinner and before I knew it, the damn things sprouted a face and limbs! They flung at me and tried bitin' me as I ran away. I jus' bolted outta there and didn't look back.It appears an unknown person enchanted the store's recent supply of produce. Within minutes of the glow appearing, fruits and vegetables sprung to life and started attacking staff and customers alike. We are unsure if they have been stopped at this time.
This sounds like it must have been terrifying at the time, but hilarious in retrospect.
