PrismaTech Organization in Omari | World Anvil

PrismaTech

We strive to provide Omari with only the highest quality technology while continuing to learn and grow every day.

This is Omari's largest technology based corporation that provides a wide variety of devices, tools, and services. They do everything to make these as accessible and affordable as possible. Newer and more advanced products may be expensive, but there are typically programs in place to help provide these to more people.

Members

PrismaTech is composed of a diverse staff who provides many different skill sets and covers numerous fields of study. Examples of employees include researchers / scientists, engineers, artists / designers, programmers, and a variety of support staff to keep operations running. Despite there being many positions, the competition is high among new graduates wanting to work with the current best tech giant.

Breakthroughs

Borialite

This is one of their most important innovations. It is a versatile source of power that the company is constantly finding ways to use. They own a majority of the deposit sources and do what they can to avoid overmining before resources can replenish. Researchers occasionally conduct extra experiments to discover other potential uses.

Accessibility

One of Prismatech's subgroups works specifically on developing disability aids and other accessibility technology. They employ and partner with disabled individuals to ensure their needs are being properly met with these inventions. Final designs are not pushed forward without first gaining the community's approval.

Magic Assistance

The company's newest subgroup handles devices that can be useful for various magic users. So far they've only managed to create the Magi-Tab, but are continuing development of other ideas. Individuals with magic abilities are encouraged to apply for paid experiments to test future devices.
