Niluna Settlement in Omari | World Anvil

Niluna

Yet another location the crew and I had to bundle up for. This island sure is cold even in the Southern settlements. It's worth it as always; the mountains look beautiful. Maybe we'll plan a trip in the late spring or summer. At least they experience seasons here.
Birki Kroon's travel blog

This town is built into the lower portions of the Osho Mountains in the South of Klidari. Winters are usually harsh, but the rest of the year is palatable since the island isn't as far North as Aibonora. It plays a vital role in production and manufacturing via supplying high demand resources.

Layout

Niluna is a mixture of surface and subterranean structures. There are four levels terraced into the mountains; each one contains a mixture of regular buildings and tunnel entrances leading to more facilities. The uppermost level is dedicated to only mining and blacksmithing. Each one below that contains residential, educational, magic, and business related buildings.

Locations of Interest

Inventor's Alley

A wide tunnel on the Western section of the third level. Artificers and other tinkerers alike flock here to browse and or showcase their own wares. Informational workshops are often held here for all age and experience groups.

Shrines

At the center of the third level are two tempels that both house a respectable shrine to their corresponding deity. There is one Nemris and Xenthea. Many residents revere both deities.

Mage District

This area is comprised of both surface buildings and a wide tunnel portion. It is located at the central part of the ground level. Magical services, training, and items not found in the regular market are provided here.

Plentiful Mines

The Osho mountains provide Niluna with an abundant amount of resources to mine and process. A variety of gems and metal can be found within the mines in both normal and magical grade quality.
