Brucairian

Brucairian is the language of Brucaire Elemental and utilizes real-world translations (English-to-Italian).   During the Era of the First Aspect (Original Era), Aspectish was the global language ("Common") of Ölütanrı; however, all Elemental had their individual ethnic languages as it better embodied their physical capabilities, spirit, and culture.   Brucairian can be described as having the free flowing airyness of Fukunese with the passion and emotional descriptions turned way up. In a way it is quite similar to Tafean albeit with less of the tendencies toward the efficiency and precision that Tafean shares with Bauen. The script of Brucairian is similarly unique yet a hybrid of Fukunese and Tafean. The script is definitely stylized yet has a sharpness granted by relatively slender characters.   There are few, if any, Brucairian speakers in the world as a result of Müthiş Savaş - The 999 Year War. Any records of the language are restricted to relics and ruins of a forgotten age.

Writing System

Brucairian utilizes Latin (Italian Alphabet) for its script and consists of 21 letters (5 vowels, 16 consonants).   Notable deviations from Latin (English Alphabet) are:

  • Additions: Diacratics à, è, é, ì, í, ò, ó, ù, and ú
  • Removals: J/j, K/k, W/w, X/x, and Y/y (non-native Italian; may appear in loanwords)
