Bauen

This article is incomplete. I've pre-published it for your information as it is a parallel article to a supporting article for one of my 2021 World Anvil Summer Camp entries.

Bauen is the language of Bauen Elemental and utilizes real-world translations (English-to-German).
During the Era of the First Aspect (Original Era), Aspectish was the global language ("Common") of Ölütanrı; however, all Elemental had their individual ethnic languages as it better embodied their physical capabilities, spirit, and culture.
Bauen can be described as the antithesis of Fukunese. It is the sterner elder to Tafean and Brucairian with passion repurposed from emotion into technical specificity. The language is extremely precise and fairly information dense causing its native speakers to speak in rough, abrupt, clipped tones. The spoken word is an exercise in ruthless efficiency and technical effort that is extended into the hard edged, block-like written script. There are few, if any, Bauen speakers in the world as a result of Müthiş Savaş - The 999 Year War. Any records of the language are restricted to relics and ruins of a forgotten age.

• Post-First Aspect Era (The Current Era): Dead^*

^*Fragments of the language may exist anywhere in the world in the form of Original Era ruins and relics
