Merios Towns

The Merios Towns is the name given to several towns that line the coast of the Merios Lake. The majority of them was created between 24983 and 24979 AYM, and were mostly made of immigrant populations. Although most of them have been destroyed and/or abandoned, a select few, most notably Vannae, have survived and are still alive to this day. 
The Merios Towns rely heavily on fishing and farming, as the nutrients are circulated from the Blip Ocean to the Merios Lake, providing the inhabitants of the Towns with a constantly replenishing supply of rich crops. This advantage ultimately caused Lotao's relationships with its neighbors to deteriorate, and was one of the main reasons behind the Tayzem Campaign.
The Towns are governed by the Merios-Zumduate, who can pass declarations and laws as well as control the police force and army.
