Aragnia Mountains

The Aragnia Mountain Range is the planet's longest and widest mountain range. It is located in the Shattered Earth and borders the Aragnia Bay to the west. Surrounding the peaks are several kilometers of marshland, whose waters are replenished by the mountains. To the east, several tributaries of the Iagos River carry water all the way north to the Kamaloa Ocean.
The Mountains are a product of the activity between the small Aragnian plate and the larger Aramyzarpol plate; the Aragnian plate is currently being pushed on all sides by not just the Aramyzarpol plate, but also the Blivonic Plate, East Erithorn Plate, and South Aramyzarpol Plate. This results in the signature c-curve that cradles the Aragnia Bay, and in around 25,000 years, the Aragnia Mountains are expected to extend fully around the Bay.

Geography

The Mountains are frequently divided into 5-6 horizontal stretches of earth. These sections are the places where the plate tectonics' movements and jagged edges have created an unequal effect on the terrain. These are numbered 1-5 from north to south, with a disputed 6th section at the very bottom. Between each section is a small area of marshland, which extends 5 km from the base of the peaks. Below is a picture of the Mountain Range; the darkened lines represent the gaps in between each section, and the dotted lines represent the boundary between the 5th and disputed 6th section.
Here are several stats regarding each section.
