Ðóš-Avï
Ðóš=Avï was a city located in the Ðýmóš Plains, adjacent to the northeast edge of the Volain Forest. It is one of the two earliest settlements in the Plains alongside Býnhafý, both of which had existed before 25021 AYM. First documented that year by the Alëhadic Expedition, the two cities would become the basis for the tribe of Lrhúuŋðarr and its flagship mission of the Palïŋ-Lhrúuŋðarr. This mission constituted a massive trading route that would stretch all the way from the two eastern cities to those of the Amoŋot Desert in the west. In 24996 AYM, those in the eastern cities signed the Pact of the Palïŋ-Lhrúuŋðarr with those in the west, with the former establishing a new tribe, Ökghaaŋðarr, under whose jurisdiction the city of Ðóš-Avï was under for the vast majority of its existence.
Due to its proximity with the Volain Forest, which would become the territory of the Kairn Tribe, the city of Ðóš-Avï woul become the most important mode of communication between Kairn and Lhrúuŋðarr, and later Kairn and Ökghaaŋðarr as well.
History
The city of Ðóš-Avï was settled anywhere between 25025 AYM and 25021 AYM, and is primarily the result of the influx of emigrations that occurred after the Wýðúric Expedition of 25026-25 AYM and the further Khýnýšic Expedition of 25025 AYM. Given that these two expeditions had mapped out the northern Amoŋot Desert, the success of these Expeditions meant that the majority of emigrants went there, mainly via the left fork of the Kairn River System. However, due to various factors, many would mistakenly take the east fork, which led not to the Desert but to the Plains. Two cities were quickly developed, Ðóš-Avï and Býnhafý. While Ðóš-Avï was located northwest of the east fork's mouth, Býnhafý was located to its southeast. However, both were placed adjacent to the Volain Forest, and both used the wood for their local construction.
The rate at which emigrants would mistakenly go to the Plains instead of the Desert seems to have averaged at around 250 per years, as by 25021 AYM, when the Alëhadic Expedition surveyed the two cities, they both had a total population of around 1000. Most of the population was concentrated in Ðóš-Avï; the most likely explanation would be that they longed to return to the Amoŋot Desert, but this is not certain.
