Bleakskarr Mountain
A once proud mountain inhabited by native gnomes and tribesmen; corrupted by the Influence of tremendous dark power following the great Cataclysm. Legends say within sleeps the Feared bringer of doomsday: the one who caused the chaos-and would gladly do so again. Upon it's inclines stand several watchtoweers, keeps, and other fortifications. The stone that once was fresh and grey is now stained and ashen. Foul clouds hang over the mountain like mounrers over a corpse. Few have dared explore the Mount since it's fall into darkness; fearing what they might find within.
Sometimes creatures descend from the darkened stone to terrorise the Dwarven towns underneath; but nosignificant assault has yet been witnessed by either side. The locals consider it a bad omen to even look upon, and many have moved away from it's accused base. The Order of Gideon to this day make occasional patrols of the region, trying to uncover a means to purify the barren land.

Geography
The terrain is a singular large mountain of blackened stone, possibly basalt. Dark clouds shadow the mountain and the surrounding plains. and ground is dead and ashen; like an eerie wasteland. The only creatures to be found here are the remaining townsfolk of some of the old mining towns; and the shadow creatures that hunt them mercilessly. Soon there will be nothing left of the towns but ruined houses and empty forges.
Fauna & Flora
The spare portions of gress are black and septic, corrupted by a tremendous aura of negative energy. Nary a crop can be grown on the soil, no vines to climb the steep stone.
Natural Resources
The mountain once held all kinds of ore and minerals, from iron to diamonds. Instead, the few surviving shafts bear Shadowsteel -arguably the only saving grace of this regions unfortunate transformation.
