Manufacturing process
GSS, like all Rainbow Diamond weapons, is a Saber made from two separate weapons. GSS was made from the ultimate Saber of the Light: Sword of Saint Michael and the ultimate Saber of the Darkness: Mura Masa no Kessaku (Muramasa's Masterpiece). The blades are joined together magically with the Esoteric Flame to forge the God Shattering Star.
History
A Legend onto Itself
God Shattering Star (GSS) is a mighty Zweihänder crafted by the smith, Meike Deichgräber. She had obtained two legendary swords, "The Sword of St. Michael" & "The Mura Masa no Kessaku", which she forged into GSS via the Esoteric Flame at the Forge of Infinities. Deichgräber originally named dubbed it "Gott Fallstar" (God Fallstar) but it was later taken by the warrior Talos who renamed it "God Shattering Star", its more famous name.
Significance
GSS is one of six known crafted weapons that are imbued with the power of the Esoteric Flame, a meta-physical source of power that defies all Absurdities and only deals in absolutes. This is why GSS can kill anything, even Gods and Concepts, it is a sword, and thus its Absolute Truth is to kill things. When it was first forged by Deichgräber it was relatively unknown but this would change when the warrior known as Talos would steal the weapon from the Deichgräbers and use it in his war against the Angels of Mos Din'Ur.
